MDPC COMPUTER CLUB
Houston, Texas

June 14, 2004  7:38 P.M.

Dear MDPC Computer Club Member,

Fortunately I was able make it to today's meeting of the
MDPC Computer Club. I have had to spend a lot of time at the  M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in the last few months.  My electrical head jolts have been determined by to be a form of Trigeminal Neuralgia caused by a rare cancerous tumor in the parotid gland in my left facial cheek. My 2nd chemotherapy treatment  will be for 6 hours Friday June 17th. I have already lost half of my hair so the next treatment will probably put be in the baldy category.  I didn't have that much to lose but  at least now I will have something to blame it on.

The purpose of our club is to share ideas about computers, new computer equipment and software,  and occurring and reoccurring computer problems. We have tried to have a speaker on computer  subjects at most of our meetings.

Today we had one on using the computer for financial investments. Last month we learned how to build our own family or business webpage.  Over the last 5 years we have had  a variety of many different  topics that we  discussed.  Hopefully you have learned something when you found time to attend our meetings. I am working with our program committee to develop programs for the last half of 2005.

What I would like to know  is what you think about and what you expect from the
MDPC Computer Club.?

What did you like about or dislike about some of the last presentations that you attended at the MDPC Computer Club   I also want to know what you would like to learn about in future meetings.

Just be frank about anything that is on your mind. It could be about location, meeting times,  subjects for discussion or how the material was presented.

You may want to tell me about things like how the speaker was introduced, the location or condition of the room we meeting in, how effective the website  www.MDPCComputerClub.com  was for you in solving a problem, if you liked have snack foods passed around with a donation hat following it.

I need your help. Please let me hear from you  so we can make our club a better club, period.  Also thanks for writing with your thoughts and thanks for praying for my medical condition.

Sincerely,

Brian Nelson
